General Challenge

What is the biggest challenge for a graduate embarking on a career in sales business2business?
general tips are welcome, thanks for your time.
The first challenge is to get a job, which vary in difficulty depending on how low on the totem pole is ready to begin. A job B2B expertise required much more than selling cell phones in the mall. The second, which is related to the first, is building credibility. The sale other companies is much differernt to sell cell phones in the mall. Your customers are more educated and sophisticated, both in general and what you are selling and how it applies to your business. I am assuming they are selling to medium and large enterprises. They may even know more than you. They see you as a solutions provider, not just someone who had real Hocking. And if you can not deliver, they will work with the next guy. This is the third challenge. Competition. You are not competing with high school dropouts. You are competing with educated and trained professionals. And they have done this more than you. I personally enjoy B2B, because the relationships generates, and the challenge of complex (and expensive) solutions. You become a de facto part of the customer's business, and part of its success. I think it's great. I choose a company that has both a successful career but also one who takes the time to nuture and develop, ultimately putting you in a position to have success. Good luck!
